R-S-T-C: The Song

A song writer named "anonymous," who may or may not be in the Federal Witness Protection Program [FWuPP], has spent some time songwriting of late. Here's the sure-to-be hit R.S.T.C., sung to the music of the Village People's "YMCA"

R.S.T.C. by anonymous

Young man, there’s a place you can go.
I said, young man, there’s a place you can show
Your fancy footwork, strokes, and steel nerves
Forehand, Backhand, Slice, Drop, and Serve

President Annette is a doll
She will never holler nor howl
Although you serve with your foot on the line
And you stole her ball yelling “mine!”

It’s fun to play with the R-S-T-C
It’s fun to play with the R-S-T-C

They have tournaments for us all to enjoy
You can play or cheer and make noise

It’s fun to play with the R-S-T-C
It’s fun to play with the R-S-T-C

They have tournaments, socials and open play
Come join us for a fun-filled day

Irene is a chef extraordinaire
Barb brings refreshments to share
Our line calls are really better than fair
But Dennis aces everyone

Young man, there’s, no need to feel down.
I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground.
I said, young man, ‘though you just lost the game
There is no need to be ashamed.

It’s fun to play with the R-S-T-C
It’s fun to play with the R-S-T-C

They have tournaments for us all to enjoy
You can play or cheer and make noise

It’s fun to play with the R-S-T-C
It’s fun to play with the R-S-T-C

They have tournaments, socials and open play
Come join us for a fun-filled day...
