Fun, Food and Tennis! Currently in its 21st year, the RSTC sponsors monthly intra-club tournaments and frequent “open play” dates, when the courts are reserved for RSTC members on a walk-on basis. Each monthly tournament is followed by an evening social held at the home of a member, featuring gourmet fare and a review of the day's heroic exploits. The socials have become almost as big a draw as the tennis itself. Non-tennis-playing spouses are always welcome, especially at the socials.
The thing about Spring is that it rains, even on Saturdays, even on Tourney Days. This has a deleterious effect upon tennis. Our lawyers are researching responsibility and possible damages. Stay tuned for nothing but blue skies ahead.
