Countdown to Bowling

We're all set for the Saturday night bowling adventure. Remember: actual bowling skill is discouraged. We have three lanes for twelve people.

Saturday, Jan 27th, 6:30 to 9:30 PM [Bowling starts at 7] at Redwood Lanes, [the old Mel's] south of Woodside on El Camino in Redwood City.
$15 per person includes shoe rental and two hours of play
Bring "discrete tailgate" food and drink...there is also lane-side service form the onsite cafe as well as Pronto Pizza across the parking lot.

Bowling? Now, seriously...

Howdy all. Hope you're defrosting satisfactorily, especially if you've tried to play tennis any of these frigid morns. I have new details on an RSTC Bowl Night:

Bowling, Anyone?

Happy 2007, everybody. Here's a question: is there any interest out there in an RSTC bowling event? The always inventive Rick Urrutia suggested some such over a recent holiday cocktail and bye golly, I think he's on to something here. At the very least, a fun offseason "social tennis" outing will help Rick deal with the 35-38 Gator Bowl loss of his beloved Georgia Tech Ramblin' Wrecks [as for Barb Urrutia's Notre Damers, the less said the better...].

Anyway, here's some tentative details: Redwood Lanes on El Camino in Redwood City [or Bel Mateo in San Mateo] on a Saturday eve in late January/early February. Right now I've penciled in Saturday, 1/27 at Redwood Lanes, but this is subject to change. Respond via email with preferences, suggestions or bowlgame analysis to: rstc.info@gmail.com and/or sign up directly at the RSTC eBowling site.
